It should be recognised also that the shareholders of Qantas are too the workers.
We the workers love to see the company make money and lots of it. How about sharing that profit with the workers.
Its not jusifiable for only the big bosses to take the whole cake and not to share.
Greed will inevitably be your down fall.

qantas organisation behaviour to the workers are absolutely not the spirit.
Explain why qantas needs to change the rosters? It is important that work hours are arranged so that individuals have time for adequate rest and recuperation between shifts.
It looks like the freight workers are an easy target for qantas to get the $61million that illegal conduct involving the fuel.
So what qantas do they take money of the workers so management can still get the bonus.
Qantas Freight another dud attempt to cover up past nepotism.
In a cynical attempt to remain relevant freight resources have issued an expessions of interest

this is an attempt to cover up the jobs for boys policy that has existed for the last 4 years.
Indeed it has gone so far that in the past we have had the HR person conduct the interview for duty mananger and then selecting herself for the position. At present we have two duty managers on secondment and still no return to their jobs and still no advertisment for the two vacant jobs.
Bobs boys have been given cushy jobs around the traps and in terminal 2 along with questionable use of HDA allowances.Still no truth in management evident just standover, bullying and intimidation.
A surgical strike to remove the management cancer in the terminals is required before the whole arm of a good business goes to the brink of armageddon and beyond.
What is Wymaps role in all of this. This mob are being given saloon passage service while the public wait. They threaten workers on site with the fact that they will soon replace all workers with their own contract labour. One wonders how this contract was awarded to them with no transparent tender process used all in the guise of commercial inconfidence. I think that this mob and terminal 2 need a visit from Derek Belan so the abuse of workers on this site can stop and some justice be given out.

* Price Fixing on freight under the disguise of fuel and war risk surcharges have ripped exporters off in the facinity of $200 million dollars and Qantas hit “so far” with $68 million in fines.
If this is the way Qantas conducts it’s business then serious Questions must be asked about the tender process in establishing Terminal 2 and if any “shifty deals” have been done.
As was the case with the price fixing fiasco, it looks like Qantas Workers, Customers and Shareholders have been kept in the dark and treated with contempt, while exectutive wages and contractors pockets are being filled.
Due to poor management the market capitalization of Qantas is now only $3.4 bill USD, only 32% of what is was offered last summer. It is time to start listening to the customers instead of acting like the some East German company from the 1950s. Stangely, Aussies are known to be friendly, easy-going and cool (a fact – not a myth!) so how can Qantas management be so different??
